  Take MBA608 in the 7-week term with Dr. Edmonds if you can. Most manageable 7-week class EVER. You need to be tech savvy and do the weekly 'teams' responses to buy bonus points and cheat sheets for exams, but it is so easy to learn, get answers to questions, and get an A in this class if you do the work and are active through teams. Wonderful class

  I took MBA601 online with Drs Edmonds and Song as a 6 week summer course. His lectures are perfect, and enable you to balance a 6-week course as you'll have multiple ~10min. videos and quizzes a week. They used MS Teams to answer everyone's questions with almost no wait time! If I can get an A with no background knowledge, you can too. Great Prof.

  His lectures are great, gives plenty of homework. First test was a bit difficult since you are unable to use calculator. Also there is plenty of extra credit work, so definitely appreciate that!

  Im not a really big fan of the "flipped classroom." But he was a very chill teacher. I made a mistake on rushing watching the videos. He is a chill teacher, and he cares about you. If you enjoy doing practice in class, and watching videos as homework, I would recomend him.

  This professor is by far one of the most caring professors I have ever had. I and my two friends sat in the back of the class which had almost 100 students in it. Every class he would walk up to our section and ask us if he understood. This not only helped us ask questions but he was able to really explain the concepts. WATCH THE VIDEOS!

  Great professor! He laid the entire course in the syllabus and stuck to it. He gave you every opportunity to pass the course. If you want to pass this course take this professor!

  I took the class on campus, but everything you need is online. "Quizzes" are videos and questions, very very helpful. Homework is optional and not worth any points but very useful in passing the tests. Tests are difficult but if you redo the homework and understand the quizzes, you'll be fine. Come to class only if the quiz was hard.

  At the beginning of this class I did not like it, but once you get through material everything starts to make sense and it ends up being very easy & beneficial. The way Chris teaches is different than other professors, but change is a good thing. I truly learned in this class and didnt just memorize to get a good grade. I miss him honestly :/

  My favorite professor!!! He explains things so well!! He even gives you his cell phone number so that you can get a hold of him immediately. I wish he taught all of my accounting courses! He really cares and wants you to succeed. Will always give you feedback!

  I still think its weird to be on a first-name basis, but he insists. Absolutely nice guy, very responsive to emails, gives extra credit for correctly answering each others questions on discussion boards. Obviously wants to help his students succeed.

  He is a fantastic teacher. I am getting a Master's in Accounting and I wish I could take Dr. Edmonds (prefers to be called Chris) for every single class. The tests are not confusing and as long as you read the material, watch the lectures, and do your homework then you will be fine. The lectures are not boring and easy to understand. A+++!!

  I LOVED THIS CLASS. I wish Professor Edmonds would teach 201 soon. It's a flipped classroom format, which took some getting used to but worked really well for this class. His grading system is confusing but super fair. You have 3 tries for the first test and 2 for the second. And as long as you pass 2 tests you'll basically pass the class.

  This professor is a god among men. He is a co-author of the textbook you use, which is used by most accounting classes nationwide. He waived loyalties from the book for UAB so it is 50% cheaper for UAB students. He created the first online video textbook through McGraw-Hill, which he uses to teach you along with reasonable work and tests. TAKE HIM.

  Instructor's AWESOME. Cares about students. Will help if you put in a little effort too. Grading system was changed where it's impossible to get less than a C and pretty easy to get an A. Not everyone's going to be a CPA but still has to take the course, so the new grading system compensates for that. Fun class. Learned what I needed for my career.

  He makes class easy to understand and helps you when you need it. The tests are tough but are like the homework problems he assigns. I would take his class again, but it might be helpful to take this class in person instead of online.
